A fantastic wedding at Owen House Barn

The day started with Lisa at her parents home in Manchester before heading to Owen House Barn where I again met Lisa in the bridal suite. The groom soon arrived and I caught up with him for a short period before the ceremony. Its as soon time for Lisa’s dad to come and see the bride and get ready to walk down the aisle.

Your ceremony were again on hand to conduct the wedding which is always great, the bride and groom also had a sand box that they filled up with their two daughters who were flower girls for the day. After saying the “I do’s” it was time for the drinks reception with canapés and drinks flowing it was a great afternoon.

Couples portraits at Owen House Barn

We were really lucky with the weather to be able to get outside for some couples portraits. Normally these are done towards the end of the drinks reception but at this time of year we went out at the start so we didn’t miss the light. Owen House Barn is a great venue and there are no issues whatever the weather. We also headed into the shooting gallery for a few minutes before the evening party!

Wedding reception at the Barn

The wedding reception was brilliant and everyone was really continuing the festive spirit and having a great time. It was soon time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. They also had a fantastic magician in Andrew Green to entertain the guests which got some great reactions. As a surprise the bride and groom had arranged for singing waiters and this was a fantastic addition- everyone loved it during the wedding breakfast and had everyone up and dancing and that was only during the wedding breakfast. Soon after it was back to more relaxed drinks for everyone before the cake cut and first dance. Shortly after the dance floor was packed and it was an incredible atmosphere all night.
