Mike & Justine’s wedding in Clitheroe

I arrived in Clitheroe and met up with Justine and her bridesmaids in the 1823 Spinning Block Hotel. I have stayed here before so I can vouch for how nice a venue this is.

Mike arrived with some of his groomsmen and went to the beer hall for a few beers ahead of the wedding. I joined him for a short while to take some natural and relaxed photos ahead of the ceremony.

When I joined back up with the bride and bridesmaids they were all having a great morning and it was time to get the dress on.   We all then walked the short distance to the ceremony and it was time to get married.

Wedding Ceremony in Holmes Mill

The groom was waiting for his bride to be to arrive and it was a great ceremony. I love this space for a wedding,  With light flooding the room it really creates a unique wedding space to tie the knot. After the formalities of signing the register it was time to head down stairs to the Engine Room.

Drinks reception in the Engine Room

The Engine Room is an incredible space for a drinks reception, with great light, fantastic drinks, an industrial design and fantastic canapés what else could you wish for during a wedding reception. Towards the end of the drinks we spent around 20 minutes for some group photos and then around 15 minutes on couples portraits.

Evening party at Holmes Mill

Speeches were after the wedding breakfast and they were short and sweet with some funny and emotional moments.  It was soon time for the evening guests to arrive.  DFC were in charge of the music tonight and I do enjoy working alongside them. It was a pleasure to be back being a Holmes Mill Wedding Photographer and I can’t wait to return to photograph at this wedding venue in the future.
