Rivington Barn Wedding

I am delighted to share this Rivington Barn Wedding. Situated near Chorley & Bolton in Lancashire, Rivington Hall Barn dates back to between the 9th and 13th centuries and today is a very popular & impressive wedding venue. Still retaining its original beams this Grade II listed building is one of the finest wedding venues I have ever been lucky enough to photograph at.

Today, the Salmon Family have the responsibility for everything that happens at Rivington Hall Barn, and maintain a family run ethos who take pride in offering a welcoming and friendly service which was certainly apparent for Ashlea & Paul’s wedding.

Jenna & Anthony’s Rivington Barn Wedding

The day started off for me with Jenna and her bridesmaids at the White hotel in Bolton, a short drive to Rivington Barn. My second shooter was with Anthony at home. It was one emotional morning for Jenna and once the hair and make up was finished it was time to head off to tie the knot. We all made the short drive to Rivington Barn – after I decided to crash in to a barrier in the car park – bloody nightmare. I love the ceremony room at Rivington Barn and today was again a great day to be a photographer at this incredible venue.

Drinks reception at Rivington Barn

After tieing the knot it was time for drinks reception in the conservatory, the drinks were flowing and everyone was having a great day. We weren’t that lucky again with the weather so we did some groups inside which again is such a great space. We did have a break in the rain so we headed outside for some couples portraits just before the wedding breakfast. Jenna was a super bride and didn’t care about the weather and was just happy to head outside. We timed in perfectly as well as just as we were heading back in it started raining again! A Rivington Barn Wedding doesn’t matter if it is raining or beautiful sunshine.

Rivington Barn Wedding Party

Rivington Hall did it again and produced a fantastic party. Jenna and Anthony were surrounded by their friends and family during the first dance and were soon joined by everyone on the dance floor. I absolutely love photographing at this incredible venue and can’t wait to return again in later this year.
